f\u00fcr historische Zupfinstrumente international einen Namen hat, suchen den Himmel \u2013 mit der Musik von Alfonso Ferrabosco Vater und Sohn.<br><br>F\u00fcr Ben Johnson, neben William Shakespeare der ber\u00fchmteste englische Dramatiker der Renaissance, war die Musik Ferraboscos des J\u00fcngeren Ausdruck der Seele des Himmels. Oder galt sie selbst ihm gar als \u201eThe Soule of Heaven\u201c? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als ein \u201eherbstlich warmes Kaleidoskop, der greifbaren Welt abhanden gekommen\u201c, empfinden die Interpret:innen sie. Sie sei \u201etraurig und trostreich, dunkel und heilsam. Die alte Wehmut \u2013 das Wissen darum, dass uns Menschen das Sch\u00f6ne nur entgleiten kann \u2013, genau das kann Ferrabosco wie kein anderer in Kl\u00e4ngen einfangen.\u201c Zwischen frivolem Lebenshunger und besonnener Gelassenheit lassen B-Five und Sophie Vanden Eynde Pavanen und Allemanden der Ferraboscos tanzen.<br>&nbsp;<br>Vater und Sohn Ferraboscos stehen f\u00fcr feinste englische Consortmusik. Ferrabosco der \u00c4ltere wirkte am Hof K\u00f6nigin Elizabeths I. in London, bis er \u2013 Italiener aus Bologna, katholisch, des Raubmords verd\u00e4chtigt \u2013 entlassen wird und zur\u00fcck nach Italien geht. Sein Sohn muss auf Gehei\u00df der K\u00f6nigin in der englischen Hauptstadt bleiben, wird Hofmusiker und Musiklehrer des Kronprinzen \u2013 und einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften englischen Komponisten im \u00dcbergang von Renaissance und Barock. Er entwickelte einen sehr eigenen, auch vom fr\u00fchen italienischen Barock beeinflussten Personalstil mit vielen Verzierungen und virtuosen Passagen, und schrieb, wie sein Vater, zahlreiche sog.
